We photograph people. Families mostly, with the occasional dog who’s quietly convinced the whole thing is about them (they’re not entirely wrong).
Most people who come to us start by saying some version of “I hate having my photo taken.” That’s absolutely fine. In fact it’s rather where the good stuff begins. Because within about ten minutes, once there’s a cup of something warm in your hand and we’ve all stopped taking it too seriously, something lovely happens. Shoulders drop. Someone laughs. And there, in that unguarded moment, is the photograph.
That’s really the whole job. Not to pose you into something stiff and unrecognisable, but to give you the room to be yourselves, and to catch it when you are. It’s why our portraits tend to end up framed on a wall rather than lost somewhere on a phone. Twenty years from now, it won’t be the lighting you remember. It’ll be the way your daughter laughed, or the look your dad gave you when he thought nobody was watching.
Sessions start at £125. No hard sell, no pressure, just a proper morning or afternoon together and some pictures you’ll genuinely want on the wall.
