Headshots that look like you on a good day
A good headshot has a job to do. It’s the first impression you make before you’ve walked into the room, before you’ve shaken a hand, before you’ve said a word. So it needs to look like you on a good day, not a corporate yearbook photo that has to be redone every time the strategy deck changes.
Most of the people I photograph are professionals: executives, business owners, consultants, founders, the occasional familiar face. And nearly all of them arrive saying they hate having their picture taken. I find that genuinely reassuring. The ones who turn up already posed tend to look like the pose; the ones who’d honestly rather be anywhere else usually get to something far more like themselves.
So we don’t rush it. A session runs around 90 minutes, and we spend the first twenty or so just talking, coffee in hand, camera nowhere near you. By the time we pick it up, the version of you that needs to be in the picture is already in the room. You’ll leave with images that are unmistakably you, and useful everywhere you actually need them: LinkedIn, the website, the speaker bio, the press.
A headshot session is £450 and includes five finished, retouched images. We photograph authors, performers and personal brands too, but wherever you’re coming from the aim is the same: a picture that looks like you, and not like everyone else.
