Capturing the essence of a family is always a beautiful experience, but when multiple generations come together, it’s truly something special. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this particular family for 15 years now, and each session is more heartwarming than the last. Our studio and garden provide the perfect backdrop for this kind of session, allowing us to capture both candid moments basking in the sunshine and more posed, classical portraits.
There’s something about seeing different generations interact that is truly magical. From grandparents doting on their grandkids to siblings reminiscing about old times, these sessions are full of love, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. As a photographer, it’s an honor to be able to freeze these moments in time and create images that will be cherished for generations to come.
If that weren’t enough, we laughed through every single second (even trying to get the more enigmatic shots of the kids without smiles, somehow we just fell about laughing.) And right now, laughter is something we all could do with more of.
