You couldn’t ask for a nicer Sunday afternoon. Though, in that typically British way, we did inevitably conclude it was, well, just a little warm. There’s just no pleasing us really is there?
I’ve known Guy for a while since doing some work at the Crazy Bear in Stadhampton which is one of my all-time favourite venues. Everything they do there rings true with what we strive for in our photography business – particularly around the quality and level of service they provide. Guy was the events manager there, though he’s now moved on to the brand-new (and very shiny!) Beaconsfield Crazy Bear which is even more plush and exclusive.
We’re going to be capturing Guy and Louise’s wedding in early September and so I popped over to West London to do the pre-wedding session with them. And it was into a dreamy world of peace and tranquility that I stepped with, I have to admit, no small degree of surprise.
Now please don’t get me wrong, I had absolutely expected Guy and Louise to live somewhere beautiful (and believe me, their place is seriously gorgeous) – it’s just that, after driving through the nub-end of Feltham, I hadn’t expected it to be, er, there! No disrespect to anyone who lives in Feltham of course.
So it was into this stunning location that I stepped with the camera. A good day by all accounts. In fact, the only slight fly in the ointment was the swealtering Sunday evening heat through which the light wrippled.
So, with that in mind, let yourself mentally drift off with a G&T, the sounds of Hozelock’s finest, the twittering of birds and the dulcet tones of us laughing our way through a shoot and there you have it. Absolutely fantastic.
